What We Cover

Our experienced medical doctors have been providing health care for the community in this practice since 1978.

Whichever of our twelve strong medic team you see, you are sure to be in the best of hands.

Our team handle referrals to specialists, as well as all aspects of general medical practice.

Between 6pm and 9pm every Wednesday we offer a first come first served drop in service, to anyone in the community in need of advice and help.

Our community nurses handle blood taking, injections, vaccinations, life style advice, family planning, urine tests, cervical smears, physical examinations, as well as wound dressing.

They also oversee the diabetes clinics (Wednesday 1pm-3pm) and the baby clinics (Tuesday 11am-12.30pm). Please see reception for more details.

To book with one of our experienced community nurses, please call the center between 8am and 12 noon Monday to Friday.

We have three community midwives attached to the medical center and they operate in a rotation basis.

They will oversee the care of any pregnant woman from the first positive test, right up to delivery.

They also run ante natal classes and can help and advise with the necessary lifestyle, health and fitness changes that patients may have to deal with.

We have a team of six community dentists, as well as five dental nurses and a hygienist.

Appointments are easily bookable and for emergencies, we operate an early morning clinic between 8am and 9am, three days a week.

Our services range from general dentistry – fillings, crowns, denture fittings, bridge work, root canal treatment, extractions and preventative treatments. We also provide a range of cosmetic dentistry – from tooth whitening, tooth straightening and braces to crowns and other cosmetic procedures. Often these are far more reasonably priced than people are expecting, so contact the team for a brochure of the pricing today!

Our sexual health and family planning clinic operates on Wednesday and Friday evenings between 6pm and 9pm.

All appointments are on a first come first served basis and there is no need to give your name.

If you have been referred to our podiatry services, they will make an appointment to see you for one of their clinics, held weekly at the health center.

Contact reception for more details.

In addition to our mental health service offered by our general practitioners, we also operate a drop in session, on Thursday mornings, between 10am and noon and Friday evenings, between 7pm and 9pm.

These are non bookable drop in sessions, which anyone may attend.

From here, our team may be able to help with referrals to specialist mental health services, offer a prescription or suggest a further course of treatment.
